About the Residency

The Gallery Ethos residency is envisioned as a quiet working stay for invited artists, particularly those visiting from abroad. Within the gallery, there is a small self-contained space with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, offering simple accommodation in a rural Korean village surrounded by mountains, fields and farm life.

The aim of the residency is to support artistic and cultural practices that engage with the local landscape and community, creating a meaningful exchange of input and output that gives something back to the place and the people who live there.
