ABOUT

Gallery Ethos is owned and directed by Nuri Sakong, a Korea-born calligrapher and contemporary artist based in Norway. The gallery is set in a quiet natural landscape in Korea, it functions as an intimate exhibition space and project room for art and humanities.

Each year, the gallery presents four curated exhibitions, spanning traditional calligraphy, craft and contemporary work by both senior local artists and early career artists. Guided by a calm and deliberate pace, it allows art to mature in close dialogue with its surroundings. Its purpose is not only to present artworks, but to foster enduring connections among artists, local communities and wider audiences across cultures and generations.
